The course played well, the greens where in fantastic condition and very fast and a number of players saw themselves in contention shooting good scores.
Ultimately it was Ian Manthorp who would prevail to take his 2nd win on the 2011 tour, with a margin of 1 point over runner up Paul Stokes. 3rd place was shared by 5 in a Blanket finish including Richard Southam, Graham Brown, Tony Dunn, Mark Wilson and debutant Adam Houchin who made an impressive 3 birdies on his way to 35 points.
Paul Willey was the first player to make it to 50 league points securing the nearest to the pin prize, whilst Yorkshire Open Champion Antony Dunbar won the long drive.
